Important dates

  • April 1st - All property statements due in our office.
  • May 7th - Last day before a 10% penalty is applied for statements that are filed late.

State law requires business owners to file a Business Property Statement with the County Assessor annually for every business location within the county (per R&T Code Sect. 441a).

Begin a Personal Property filing here.

 

  1. Search for your personal property record using your Personal Property Account / PIN.
  2. Choose "File."
  3. Confirm record information and agree to terms to begin the filing process.
  4. To file, you must have both your Personal Property Account / PIN and Access Code as printed on your "Notice to File" letter.
For Personal Property Account / PIN Searches:
  • Your Personal Property Account / PIN is up to a seventeen-digit identifier found on your Personal Property Statement.
  • Your Personal Property Account / PIN may contain letters as well as numbers. Do not use dashes, spaces, or other separators.
  • The entire parcel/account number must be entered to perform a search.
